St. Theresa's National School

A rural primary school nestled between Cashel Hill & Cashel Bay. Surrounded by a variety of habitats, nature plays a big part in the school's life. Our area is also steeped in history. Cashel or'Caiseal' means 'Fort' in Irish. There is the remains of a fort in the local graveyard, an Early Christian holy well called 'Tobar Chonaill' & a prehistoric 'wedge tomb'. With such an abundance of human & natural heritage, we endeavour to respect & learn more about the wildlife & history of our locality
