On Friday 4th of April, 3rd to 6th class started a programme called 'Writers in Residence'. In this class we learn poetry and how to write in creative ways. Gerladine Mills is a poet who comes into our class and teaches us poetry. It is great fun. This is an 8 week programme and we also do different activities that help us get into our writing mode. Some of the class activities involve; Our Passport, The Museum of Me, The Journey, Something happened when I got my new name and lots more. It helps us compose stories and develops our imagination and creativity.
